With that said. State Law says the students of Wisconsin and most other states have to attend 180 something days of school. When schools close for snowstorms, generally if it is more than two snow days a year they have to make those days up.
What happens to the State and the different towns who then have to run schools deeper into the summer. What about the costs to do this. Say they have to go to the middle of June, or longer. Running airconditioners if they have them is expensive. I am sure that they are still heating schools now even though those that are closed down don’t have students, they have to be heated.
People have asked, should the teachers get paid for these protest days…hell yeah…pay em…but make them teach everyday of school that they are supposed to or fire them for breach of contract.
