Obama does not deal with lobbiests! Yes he does, but in secret

February 24, 2011 By Dan

I’m amazed at the new ways barry finds to lie and defraud the saps that support him.

Remember, your guy told you he wouldn’t deal with special interests..just another lie.

Let’s Do the Time-Warp Again!

February 24, 2011 By Dan

It’s just a jump to the left.
And, then a step to the right.

Doesn’t that explain Obama’s politics?

He rides the wave of Hype into office to then make a jump to the left.
It was a Time-Warp back to the good ol’ days with, instead of change; we get the same ol’ liberal politicians as before back again.
The new Administration with the Democrat Congress goes on what Harry Reid described as a “love fest” to put together a liberal wish list of spending programs to favor their left wing.

Then, two years on he loses momentum and the 2010 election results force him to takes a step to the right. But, only a step since what it amounted to was insignificant as compared to his left leap after he was sworn into office.

So, then this year he makes another jump to the left in another Time-Warp this time back to the ’60s hippie radicals protesting in the streets. That along with his flip-flop on the Defense of Marriage Act shows where his politics lie once again.

Following this pattern…how long before he makes a corresponding step to the right again?

Maybe, he’ll just progress on to the next step and put his hands on his hips instead.

Virginia votes to regulate abortion clinics

February 24, 2011 By Dan

This has huge implications for abortion clinics.

Virginia Votes to Regulate Abortion Clinics Like Hospitals

Quote:

RICHMOND, Va. — Legislators voted Thursday to make Virginia the first state to require clinics that provide first-trimester abortions to meet the same standards as hospitals.
The Senate deadlocked on the issue, and Republican Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling cast the tie-breaking vote after hours of floor debate.
Del. Kathy Byron, R-Campbell, tacked the amendment onto a Senate bill that dealt with infection prevention and disaster preparedness at hospitals and nursing homes. Doing so allowed the bill to sidestep a Senate committee notorious for killing anti-abortion legislation and force a vote on the Senate floor, where Democrats hold a tiny majority.
Two anti-abortion Democrats — Sens. Chuck Colgan of Prince William and Phillip Puckett of Russell County, voted with Republicans to approve the measure.
The bill requires all facilities that perform five or more first-trimester abortions each month to be categorized as hospitals, which are subject to strict guidelines regarding everything from the structural layout, staffing and equipment to how laundry is done and food is served.

CWA Union Thug hits 5ft. tall woman

February 24, 2011 By Dan

What a disgusting coward. I guess this is what a woman deserves when she isn’t in the kitchen, barefoot, and pregnant—according to some on the left. In the last few days we have seen these lefty loons abuse blacks, jews and now women. In these heated and unguarded moments, you see how most on left REALLY feel about blacks, women, and Jews. Not pretty. And this guy is a real pig.

This link is to Tabitha Hale’s blog. She is with Freedom works. In the article is a video of a CWA Union thug bussed into protest outside their building—complete with standard issue matching teeshirts. LOL. When she started filming a heating exchange between a coworker and a CWA union thug, the thug hit her and knocked her phone in the mud. The video is right after this:

I was taking pictures and video with my phone, and I heard my coworker getting into a heated exchange with one of the protesters. I turned on my iPhone camera and headed over to film it. They were going back and forth, the protester called my colleague a “little sh*t” just as I walked up, which is where the video starts. Then he noticed I was filming. Here’s what happened:

Just got this email from Bob Fertik and I’m SKEERED!

February 24, 2011 By Dan

😮

here’s what it said:

Quote:

Dear ***,

Job PartyThis Saturday we’re drawing a line in the sand. The entire progressive movement is putting everything we have into one massive display of progressive solidarity nationwide.

We won’t let Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker – or any other billionaire-bought TeaParty Governor – break the unions. Unions created America’s middle class and if they disappear we’ll all end up as corporate slaves.

The entire progressive movement – Netroots, unions, environmentalists, and community groups – will hold solidarity rallies in major cities, including every state capital, this Saturday around noon.

We’ll demand an end to the attacks on workers’ rights and public services across the country. We’ll demand investment to create jobs. And we’ll demand that the rich and powerful pay their fair share of taxes.

Will you join us Saturday at noon? Sign up to join your local rally here.

Here in New York City, our new Job Party has already held two solidarity rallies, proudly wearing Wisconsin Cheeseheads and winning smiles and cheers from fellow New Yorkers.

Cheesehead Rally NYC #1Last Friday, 100 of us😮 held a spirited rally in front of CNN, NBC, and FOX. On Tuesday we grew to 500 :eek:at FOX during Glenn Beck’s show, and prominent New York unions and politicians joined us.

While Glenn Beck raged helplessly inside his studio, Ed Schultz happily crossed the street to interview us. We also appeared on Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly. Watch our videos.

And with unions, students, and progressives in the Midwest leading the way, we’re turning the tide. When an Indiana official urged use of "live ammunition" against unions, he was immediately fired. Then Indiana Republicans dropped their anti-union "right-to-work" bill like a hot potato. Republican Governors in Michigan, New Jersey, and Florida are running as fast as they can from union-busting.:eek::eek:

But a few hard-line Republicans are holding out, especially Wisconsin’s Scott Walker and Ohio’s John Kasich. And several Republican presidential candidates are supporting them, promising to bust unions nationwide if they win in 2012.

So we need to hit the streets to send a message that’s loud and crystal-clear: the American people support our unions, and we want jobs!

Sign up to join your local rally here.

Thanks for all you do!

<and then it closes blah, blah, blah>

>the 😮 and bolding were not part of the original email, just editorial on my part<

I’m skeered ….:((
but on the bright side …I guess since "The entire progressive movement" is going to show …we can finally get an accurate count of the movement.

Anyone else have any thoughts, are you skeered too?

How will you cope on Saturday around noonish?.

Get ready for higher food prices

February 24, 2011 By Dan

Austrian economists have been warning of this for a few years now, the rooster is coming home..to roost.

Get ready for higher food prices

Warnings of higher food prices headed for American supermarkets and restaurants were swallowed easily across much of farm country Wednesday.

The big gulp came when the U.S. Department of Agriculture reported that global demand had pushed U.S. corn supplies to their lowest point in 15 years.

The price of corn, which has doubled over the past six months, affects most food products in supermarkets. It’s used to feed the cattle, hogs and chickens that fill the meat aisles.

Corn prices have risen over the past six months from $3.50 a bushel to nearly $7.

“Ethanol is a factor, but it’s not the driver,” he said.

Johnson said the declining value of the dollar not only has fueled greater agricultural export demand, but also has driven up the price of oil. That, in turn, has propelled higher prices for corn-based ethanol.

http://www.omaha.com/article/2011021…er-food-prices

Blame it on bad weather, Israel ,not drilling here,Muslims, terrorists or any other boogie man or event but when the supply of money goes up…the value goes down and it takes more to purchase less as a consequence…just like when any other commodity; supply and demand and government spending, more dollars in the economy ;mixed with things like bad weather, geo political circumstances in the Middle East and emerging markets/rising populations; means higher;much higher; prices from the gas tank to the produce aisles to the meat sections.

Thank you governments everywhere, thank you very much; for ****ing us royally!
