The governing party in Ireland, Fianna Fáil, has well and truly FAILED, getting wiped out in the Irish General Elections, coming in fourth overall.
Fine Gael is expected to have enough seats to govern alone or with the support of independents and Labour came in second. Independents came in third and Sinn Fein came in fifth.

Ironically. the Green Party, which triggered this election by pulling out of the government, is expected to be completely wiped out of the Irish Parliament.
